Having experienced a number of life’s big challenges during my twenties and feeling unable to cope, I turned to counselling to help me move forward.
This experience made me question my purpose in life and sparked my desire to support others in a more meaningful way. And so, my journey towards becoming a counsellor began…
I whole-heartedly believe that counselling can help everybody and to have the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of one’s self can be a life changing process.
Through both my own personal experience and my time spent supporting people as a counsellor, I have learnt that we all have the ability to choose a different path to the one we are currently on. Just sometimes, we need a little help to get there.

I believe healing is about the ‘whole person’ mind, body and soul.
So, in addition to using a collection of different psychological approaches, I weave in my own experience and understanding of philosophies from wellness practices.
My counselling style is unique to me and continues to develop and grow as I myself, continue to learn and develop as a counsellor too.
The approach I take during sessions will be tailored to your needs and we will discuss this as part of our first session together.

I’m a qualified Counsellor and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which is accredited by the professional body, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a registered member of the BACP and my work is guided by their ethical principles.
I have also completed a further qualification in online and telephone counselling, which supports me to offer remote counselling in a safe and effective way.

Alongside my private practice I provide coaching and support to individuals with anxiety and/or depression, with any work-related issues they may be experiencing. As well as supporting individuals to find employment.
I have previously volunteered at Time to Talk West Berkshire, counselling young people aged 11-25, for 4 years. Working with young people is a passion of mine as I believe that building a strong foundation and dealing with mental health issues from a young age can help support a greater self-awareness and resilience throughout the challenges life presents us with as we grow up.
I am also a Mental Health First Aider.
